SOLAS is Seeking to Appoint a New Chief Executive Officer

The Board of SOLAS, the Further Education and Training (FET) Authority, have today announced that they are seeking to appoint a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the Organisation for the next five years, shaping and driving future strategic direction for the Further Education and Training (FET) sector.  

Speaking about the CEO Recruitment Campaign, SOLAS Chairperson, Sean Aylward said: 

“This is an exciting opportunity for a strong and inspiring individual to join SOLAS at a pivotal time of growth and transformation within the FET sector. The successful candidate will play a central role in shaping the future of FET, ensuring SOLAS remains at the forefront of responding to Ireland’s evolving skills needs, fostering innovation, inclusion, and excellence in FET. 

This appointment is particularly significant as SOLAS embarks on implementing an ambitious strategy for the sector. The new CEO will be entrusted with driving transformation and delivering meaningful impact across the entire FET and apprenticeship landscape.
