Leading Irish Companies Recognised at Prestigious National Apprenticeship Employer Awards 2025

Eight outstanding employers have been presented with the National Apprenticeship Office’s Employer of the Year 2025 Awards in recognition of their dedication and commitment to supporting the next generation of apprentices. Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science, James Lawless and Minister of State for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science, Marian Harkin, presented the awards today at a ceremony in the Gibson Hotel in Dublin.
The Employer of the Year 2025 Awards celebrate the eight leading employers out of 100 nominees from across the county, who are investing in apprentices and apprenticeship training to grow their business, improve performance and efficiency, and to attract and retain talent.
Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science, James Lawless said:
“The Employer of the Year Awards goes beyond honouring recipients; it acknowledges the vision and dedication of organisations who are shaping the future of Ireland’s workforce through apprenticeships. The apprenticeship model stands out for its distinctive ‘earn while you learn’ approach, placing the workplace at the heart of skill development and practical experience. With a landscape of diverse 78 programmes, today’s employers have unprecedented opportunities to foster talent and innovation."
Minister of State for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science, Marian Harkin commented:
“The exceptional calibre of employers recognised in this year’s Employer of the Year Awards highlights the immense dedication and innovation present across our apprenticeship community. These awards honour individuals who embody the collaborative spirit between apprentices and employers I wish to congratulate each recipient and nominee on their remarkable achievements."
