1. General Queries
1.1 Can Safe Pass be delivered in schools?
Schools can contact the Construction Industry Federation (CIF) safepass@cif.ie, to request information on the delivery of Safe Pass in schools. Participants must be 16 years of age at the time of attending the programme.
1.2 Can people who live outside of Ireland attend a Safe Pass course?
Non-nationals workers coming to work temporarily in Ireland will require a process number. The Tutor will apply for a process number whereby the employer is required to provide evidence of their employment status, details of the subcontracting construction company, start and end date of the temporary works and their national security number from their country of origin. The purpose of the process numbers is to allow temporary non-nationals to sit the Safe Pass course.
UK nationals do not need a process number as proof of their UK National Insurance number will suffice.
1.3 What is the minimum requirement to attend a Safe Pass course?
Participants must be 16 years of age on the day of the course and have an Irish PPS number.
1.4 How do I obtain a receipt of payment for my course?
For applicants who completed the Safe Pass course in the classroom, you can contact your Tutor who delivered the course.
1.5 I have booked an exam and have changed my address since booking the exam, can I amend my address?
Participants attending the testing centre when doing their exams, will be given the opportunity to amend their address.
1.6 Can you help me to cancel or reschedule my renewal test?

2.1 I don’t have access to the internet; can you post out a form?
Yes, forms can be posted to your home address.

3.2 Is my card still in date?
Please submit an email to CSUInfo@solas.ie providing your name, address, date of birth, PPS and contact number.
3.3 Can you confirm with my employer that a new card is on the way?
A confirmation letter can only be issued, if a replacement or renewed card has been submitted recently.
3.4 Can you send me confirmation of my card details?

3.5 I received my card and my name/photo is incorrect.
